Installing and constructing steel portal frame buildings
Fowler and Gilbert offer a full installation service to ensure your steel frame structure is built to your exact specifications.
Our team work with you to erect your steel frame building quickly and efficiently. We deliver all materials direct to site and manage your build throughout.
We offer installation as an optional service, or, if you prefer to erect the building yourself as a kit form option, our team will still be on hand to offer guidance if needed.
Our installation process:
- Bespoke materials and construction guides are delivered to your site, by our own drivers.
- We provide everything required including plant, fuel, nets and handrail whilst we erect the building.
- You’re able to carry on with your day-to-day duties while we complete the installation.

Being accredited by the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) means we take every measure to keep our sites and staff safe at all times.
- We maintain strict health and safety standards, such as ensuring sites are netted and handrailed.
- All plant equipment and machinery operated with up-to-date LOLER certificates.
- Risk assessments, method statements and construction phase plans are completed for every project, by our in-house health and safety manager.
- All on site operatives are fully certified with ongoing continuous training.
- Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 upheld on every build.
